Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms limits, modifies, or excludes your non-excludable rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Clear Pricing: All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. We pride ourselves on intelligent pricing and bypassing unnecessary markups, bringing you fair value from the start.

In the rare event of a genuine pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full, prompt refund.

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This confirms our receipt of your request, and an ongoing agreement is formed as we dispatch the items from our local Melbourne warehouse.

We process all payments securely via Stripe. Your financial details are encrypted and handled directly by Stripe's world-class payment infrastructure. Cassandra Oak never stores your full credit card details.

If you choose to use available financing options or trusted third-party "buy now, pay later" services, those agreements are governed by the respective provider's terms and conditions.

We dispatch the majority of our stocked items from our Melbourne warehouse within 24-48 hours. Delivery times vary based on your location.

Estimated Windows: Any delivery windows provided at checkout are reliable estimates based on our trusted courier network, though occasional transit delays outside our control may occur. We will keep you updated if your delivery schedule shifts.

Please ensure that large furniture items will fit gracefully through your doors, hallways, and elevators prior to checkout. Responsibility for accessibility rests with the customer, though we are happy to advise if you contact us in advance.

Returns & Restocking Fee: We accept returns for standard stocked items within 7 days for change of mind. All eligible returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original, unassembled condition and returned in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Transit Damage: Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours with photographs, and we will swiftly organise a replacement or resolution.

18-Month Warranty: We build furniture designed to last. Our standard 18-Month Warranty covers structural and manufacturing defects. Natural variations in timber grain, fabric settling, or leather softening are expected and celebrate the authentic nature of premium materials.

From time to time, we offer thoughtfully structured promotions. Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be retrospectively added to completed orders. Offers are subject to reasonable fair use and cannot be combined unless specifically stated.

The imagery, styling, text, and design of the Cassandra Oak website are our intellectual property. We encourage you to seek inspiration from our aesthetic, but direct republication, scraping, or commercial misuse of our digital content is not permitted.

We respect your inbox and your personal information. All customer data collection aligns with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles. We only collect details necessary to safely process your payment, deliver your furniture, and optionally communicate our newest curations.
